About Me

Hi, I’m Madison - the artist behind Madison’s Art and Things.

I create fantasy-inspired illustrations filled with mermaids, dragons, and quiet magical moments. I’ve always been drawn to worlds that feel just a little bit beyond reality - where the ocean glows, creatures have stories, and color brings everything to life.

In addition to being an artist, I’m also an art educator. Teaching has shaped the way I think about creativity - I love helping others feel confident, capable, and inspired to make something of their own.

That’s a big part of why I design paint-by-number kits alongside my artwork. I want to make art feel approachable, relaxing, and enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to it after years.

Thank you for being here and supporting my work - it truly means everything to me.

A big part of my work is about slowing down and reconnecting with creativity in a way that feels calm and enjoyable. In a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming, I see art as a way to pause, reset, and spend time creating something just for yourself.

Through both my artwork and my teaching, I hope to create experiences that feel welcoming and accessible - whether that’s through a painting you connect with, a kit you complete at home, or a class we share together. There’s something really special about watching an image come to life one step at a time, and I love being able to share that process with others.

My goal is simply to make art feel less intimidating and more like something anyone can enjoy, no matter where they’re starting from.
